Dear Hannah, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for attending our Royal Navy Symposium on 9thJune 2023. From the outset, it was evident that you possessed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by military personnel, which was incredibly important to us.
Your bespoke workshop aptly named “Looking After Yourselves While Looking After Others” resonated deeply with us all. It was informative but also deeply compassionate, acknowledging the unique pressures faced by us as caregivers in our military roles. We felt we could really connect with you as you offered valuable insights and understanding from your own experience within the police force, making the brief authentic and relatable.
We aren’t often forthcoming with our emotions as military professionals, but your approachable and warm demeanour created a safe and supportive environment for reflection. Your understanding of our roles and the hierarchical systems in which we operate, meant that you could tactfully encourage all ranks to consider their own wellbeing and boundaries, fostering a sense of self-awareness and empowerment.
Your expertise and humility offered an opportunity for nurses to navigate the complex balance of caregiving and self-care. This, coupled with your humility and compassion, made it easy for us all to engage with the workshop and each other throughout.
I would highly recommend your workshop for anyone seeking support and guidance in prioritising their well-being, but specifically for those in caring or military roles where the need to put others before yourself often takes priority.
As nurses we often forget to ‘practice what we preach’ so thank you for taking the time to remind us.

Hannah and Andy attended our All Staff Away Day to deliver their Change Management presentation which was a transformative experience both professionally and personally. They both eloquently navigated through complex concepts, making them accessible and engaging.
We were particularly impressed with the use of real-life examples that illustrated the practical applications of change managements strategies in a variety of settings. The presentation was not just informative but also incredibly inspiring, driving home the importance of adaptability, communication and leadership in navigating change. The tools and methodologies shared have equipped the office with a deeper understanding and confidence to effectively manage and lead through change within our organisation.
We’d really recommend this presentation for anyone or organisation looking to enhance their ability to lead and manage change effectively. The knowledge and insights gained are invaluable and have left a lasting impact on our approach to change management.

Protecting the health and wellbeing of our people is a priority for Warwickshire Police. We recognise that a happy and healthy workforce delivers the quality of service communities in Warwickshire expect of us.
Protecting health and wellbeing is becoming increasingly challenging as demand increases and the risk of being exposed to trauma increases with it. We are absolutely delighted to be working with Hannah as part of our effort to address these challenges.
Hannah’s previous experience in the police gives her an important insight into the kind of risks we face, and the work she has done with us is already starting to have an impact in reducing the stigma attached to mental health and opening minds to different ways of protecting ourselves.
I am confident Hannah will have such a positive impact on our workforce and am excited to see what we can achieve together.

I can’t recommend Hannah Bailey of Bluelight Wellbeing enough. I asked Hannah to deliver 3 sessions on anxiety to our officers and staff., covering topics such as balancing home and work life, managing relationships and managing stress levels.
Hannah’s knowledge is clear, but her delivery is with compassion and understanding. Hannah’s own personal story combined with her previous time within the job enables her to answer questions with insight.
We had so much positive feedback from those who attended and asked when is she coming back!
Ruth McRoy, Wellbeing Coordinator, Hertfordshire Constabulary
I have had the pleasure of working with Hannah on both a professional and personal level, her gentle manner and competence is undisputable.
Hannah’s lived experiences have enabled her to tune into the needs of emergency responders and provide a unique insight into managing mental health.
A brilliant presenter, with true integrity from someone who really cares…. I cannot recommend her enough!
